Weekend in Philly
'Twas a cold weekend, that second weekend in February, but Teej and I adventured down to Philly anyway. We toured Independence Hall and visited the Liberty Bell. We ate Afghan cuisine, and drank with good company (Keri, Anand, Hitesh, Gagan) at the Nodding Head. We walked around Saturday as it began to snow. And: we awoke Sunday morning to see everything covered in over a foot of that curious snow stuff. It was beautiful! Check out the wonderlandish bikes in this photo!

Another cool site we saw was Mother Bethel Church - they had some of the most amazing stained glass I've ever seen. This picture doesn't do it justice - if in Philly, definitely take a peek. It is also interesting because it is longest-owned land by African Americans in all of Philadelphia.
