Yay for Tomatoes

My co-worker, Marcela, brought me to her home in New Brunswick at lunch one day, after seeing my eyes light up when she told me about her garden, and how her tomatoes were going crazy! Now, I was picturing a small area, with a few tomato plants and maybe a few other herbs. I was totally not prepared for what I found - a garden with hundreds of tomatoes (romas, steak tomatoes, cherry tomatoes), huge bunches of basil and mint, eggplants, humongous cucumbers, zucchinis, bell peppers. Wow! I am inspired for a garden of my own one day! Marcela then saw the excited wriggling little kid I had turned into and presented me with a straw basket. She let me fill it to my heart's content with vegetables and herbs, and sent me home with a full basket...lucky me!
